I sold out before the event and made an other trip down to purchase some more. Town-hopping by bus, I began to feel a deeper connection to my roots and my mother. The more I went the deeper I ventured into the rural towns, home to so many incredible talented embroiderers.  

I wanted to create something that my mother would have been proud of, and using knowledge of fine textiles, I began creating original designs for the artisans to bring to life.
